Meizu has announced a new “A series” smartphone dubbed as A5 in China. The device is listed in the official Meizu website.
Meizu A5 comes with a 5-inch HD display with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6737 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card.
The handset comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera to take care of the selfies. As connectivity options the device support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. Under the hood, the device comes with a 3,060mAh battery. The handset measures 144×70.5×8.3mm and weigh about 140 grams.
Meizu A5 is priced at CNY 699 ($103) and comes in Black, Gold, and Silver colors. The device is up for purchase now in China.
