Latest Snapdragon 835 Benchmark Shows Improvement Over Last Time

The latest Snapdragon 835 processor from Qualcomm is yet to be released on any device but it seems they have already started to shape the chipset for better performance. Latest rumors and leaks confirm that we may finally get to see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 slated to release within a month or two. As the Snapdragon 835 will be the flagship chipset from Qualcomm, we expect to see it on a lot of upcoming flagship devices in early 2017.

Another device that will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor is the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Evo. Today a Xiaomi device with model number MSM8998 alleged to be the Mix Evo Smartphone was spotted on Geekbench. The benchmark scores reveal the performance scores for the Snapdragon 835 processor.

According to the benchmark reports, the Snapdragon 835 will be an octa-core processor with a peak clock speed of 1.90GHz. The Single-core results peaked at 2004 whereas the multi-core performance gave a result of 6223.

The benchmark scores are nothing to be surprised about, but still, features a significant performance upgrade than the previous benchmark scores that surfaced while under development that means Qualcomm has already started to do experiment with the chipset for better performance.

As we finally get to see the Snapdragon 835 in the smartphones coming out in the following few months, we can surely expect record-breaking performance from the chipset.
