Latest LG G6 Leaks Shows Off Logo and Shiny Back

It was just a few days back when we saw exclusive images of the device claimed to be an LG G6 prototype with wires attached to it showing off the big display and tiny bezels.

Even though many doubted it to be the upcoming LG G6 Android Smartphone, today we see what looks like a final retail unit of the LG G6 (courtesy of Business Insider) showing off its shiny back panel as well as the logo that reads “G6” at the back bottom.

The previously leaked prototype picture of the LG G6 looked ugly, to be honest. However, the latest image of the LG G6 does look quite impressive and shows us the glossy rear panel. The dual rear camera setup along with the fingerprint scanner right below it does make it look quite similar to the last year’s LG V20, and we aren’t complaining.

Rumors till now strongly suggested the LG G6 have a metal construction, and these images of a shiny back may get some of us confused. However, we strongly feel that the LG G6 variant shown above will be something like Apple’s Jet Black iPhone 7 and 7 Plus devices.

Rumors in recent times have claimed the dual rear camera setup that we are seeing in the LG G6 so far will be used for the “bokeh” effect in pictures, similar to what we have seen from the latest Apple iPhone 7 Plus.

However, looking at the recent trademarks from LG and what they have done in the past with devices such as the LG G5 SE aka the LG G5 Lite, it could also be two differently sized lenses after all.

We expect the device to be powered by the Snapdragon 821 SoC and 6GB of RAM. The device will also be featuring a 5.7-inch display with Quad-HD resolution.

Well, it won’t be long until we get to see the LG G6 as the device will be launched on 26 February at the MWC event happening in Barcelona. So stay tuned with us for the latest and hottest updates on the LG G6!
