We’re already well acquainted with the fact that Huawei is officially releasing its latest flagship Honor V9 on February 21, almost a week before the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. The smartphone will be launched in China first, and its ChinaMobile branding is a big proof of this fact.
Now, we hear from the company insiders that the device will roll out with a different name in the Chinese markets. Honor V9 will be available in China with a new moniker – Honor 8 Pro and will meet the global eye at an official launch function by Huawei on February 27 in Barcelona.
The Honor V9 by Huawei features a 5.7-inch QHD display and is powered by Octa-Core Kirin 960 processor. The flagship is available in two RAM variants – 4BGB and 6GB, with expandable storage options of 64GB and 128GB. Besides this, Honor V9 is equipped with a strong 3,900mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor on the back surface. Plus, the smartphone has a 12MP+2MP dual camera setup, complemented by a selfie camera of 8MP resolution.
As per the sources, the Honor 8 Pro will be available for purchase in the last lap of the month March 2017. However, we are still unaware of its pricing details.
