The Taiwanese company, HTC has now announced that it will officially unveil its flagship smartphone HTC U on May 16. The Taiwanese firm revealed this information on its Twitter profile along with a five secs teaser with the tagline – “Squeeze for the Brilliant U.”

The teaser clearly proves that the previous rumors which claimed the device would feature an Edge sense technology. It allows users to control many functions with gestures which they can perform on the device’s metal frame. Previously, some rumors said the device would feature a 5.5-inch QHD display along with Snapdragon 835 chipset.
The few other key features of the device are a 12MP rear camera, 16MP front camera. The device comes in two storage variants: 64GB and 128GB. As far the operating system is concerned it’s said to be Android 7.1 Nougat along with HTC Sense 9 UI.
