HMD Global to Make Nokia 6, 5 and 3 in India, Expected to Launch in June

Recently, the much-awaited launch of Nokia branded smartphones are announced at MWC in Barcelona by HMD Global. Among them, one includes revamped Nokia 3310 feature phone, and other three were android smartphones namely Nokia 3, 5 and 6. The buddies over at FoneArena have talked with Ajey Mehta, India VP at HMD Global who revealed some information about the manufacturing plans.

According to FoneArena, the Nokia 6, 5 and 3 smartphones will be manufactured by Foxconn in India from the first crack. The new Nokia Android phones are expected to launch by June this year. The smartphone will be available for purchase on both online and offline through a group of partnering stores. Moreover, HMD Global will also establish its service centers through ought the country to provide after-sale for its users.

The official pricing for the devices in India hasn’t announced yet. However, since the phone are going to made locally, there is a chance of decrease in price compared to simple EUR-to-INR conversion.
