Google is apparently working on a new Operating System “Fuchsia” which is written from scratch. By using different new Kernels the OS is ready to support Smartphones, PC and other devices.
Though Google hasn’t officially announced anything about it but according to Git repository calls it “Pink + Purple == Fuchsia (a new Operating System)”.
There are two Kernel options LK and Magenta. LK is designed for small systems while Magenta is designed for smartphones and PCs. More details can be found on this Fuchsia documentation.
Some well known developers are working on it. We have to wait more to know it officially from Google.
