Google Pixel, Pixel XL India Launch – Specs, Price, Camera Samples and More

Google Pixel and Pixel XL are going to be the first handsets bearing the brand name “Google”. Both the devices are coming with Google Assistant and are now available for pre-order in selected countries. India is on the list of the selected countries for the initial launch of Google duo.

Pre-orders are going to start from 13th October 2016 at the rate of INR 57,000 for Google Pixel. Within the end of October, these handsets will be available in sites like Reliance Digital, Flipkart, Croma and many others. The Google handsets will be available in 3 colors: Quite Black, Very Silver and Really Blue. The last color combination will not be released in India initially.

Handset issues can be fixed with 24*7 customer care service offered by Google at the rate of a toll-free number. Further, in India, there will be 54 walk-in centers around 30 cities to support Google Pixel customers.

Google Pixel is priced at the rate of INR 57,000 for 32GB and INR 66,000 for 128 GB variant. Similarly, the Pixel XL is priced at the rate of costs INR 67,000 for 32 GB and INR 76,000 for 128 GB variant. Now, the Google duo Smartphones are available for pre-order in Canada, Australia, Germany, US, and UK.

Coming to the Specs, Google Pixel packs 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The device is powered by 2.15 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM. Out of the box, the device comes with Android 7.1 Nougat. On the back, it has a circular Fingerprint sensor and a 2,770mAh battery under the hood.

The Google Pixel has got a 5.5-inch Display and bigger 3450mAh battery. Rest of the specs are similar to Google Pixel. The Camera is similar to last year’s Nexus lineup. On the back it has a 12.3 MP shooter and on the front it has a 8MP camera. You can check the Picture samples taken from Google Pixel. The pictures are suggesting Google Pixel to be the best Camera smartphone but again we have to compare it with Apple iPhone 7 Plus which also takes great pitcures.
