Apple refreshes MacBook and MacBook Pro at WWDC 2017

Apple has refreshed the MacBook and MacBook Pro lineup of laptops at WWDC 2017.

Interestingly, Now the duo of laptops come with the 7th-gen Intel Kaby Lake processors.
Talking about the new MacBook, it enables support for up to 1.3 GHz Core i7 along with Turbo Boost up to 3.6 GHz. The new laptop now can handle twice the memory and carries 50% faster SSD. The device is relatively thin at 13.1mm and weighs 900 grams approximately.

The MacBook Pro as presumed has more serious horsepower though. It can facilitate Kaby Lake processors up to 3.5 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.0 GHz for the 13-inch model. The 15-inch model has a range of up to 3.1 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.1 GHz. Now also included with it is discrete graphics and more video memory. The MacBook Air has also seen some upgrades in the processor department with Apple fitting a 1.8 GHz processor into it.

Now for the pricing, the MacBook costs $1299 for the base model while the MacBook Pro with function keys will start at the same $1299. Add $500 for the Touch Bar model.
The 15-inch Macbook Pro with Touch Bar will cost $2,399. Both the MacBook and MacBook Pro can be ordered starting today from apple.com On the shelf availability is slated for June 7.
