As per latest Apple supply chain reports, Apple is going to shake up the iPhone pricing. The reports come from reliable sources, one from Mac Otakara website and another from Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities.

According to Mac Otakara, Apple will once again only iterate with its 2017 iPhones: iPhone 7S and its Plus model. These models will look similar to any of the iPhones released after 2014. There will be no revolutionary features integrated to these models though these will come with upgraded software and hardware options and perhaps, in a new red color.

As per Ming-Chi Kuo, iPhone 7s, and its Plus model will only be the base models and iPhone 8 will get the real attention. iPhone 8 is expected to come with a completely overhauled design with a range of up gradations in charging, display field.

As far as price is concerned, iPhone 7s and its Plus variant are expected to be priced within $649 – $969. iPhone 8, on the other hand, will be priced more than the iPhone 7s models. How much more, is still a question to be answered? It is estimated that iPhone 8 will be priced around $1200 for the 256GB variant.
